ARTIST'S STATEMENT

The starting point for my work is an observation of the ordinary life crisis. I’m focusing on out-of-the-way places, neglected, abandoned, insignificant and almost forgotten. The aim is not to make a statement, a conclusion or offer a solution, but to reconstruct the experience of being there: to create a space for reflections, not so much on the subject itself or the reasons of its current condition, but on the feelings triggered by it. These are often melancholy and nostalgia.
